[00:00:00.0]
There are other ways to import graphics within Keynote.
[00:00:05.0]
If we go to the File menu, you notice that you can save your document,
[00:00:13.0]
and of course we have already gone over actually exporting a document.
[00:00:18.0]
And we know how to import files from the libraries.
[00:00:21.0]
But if we go to Edit and choose place, we get a bunch of options.
[00:00:27.0]
Let's go ahead and select one.
[00:00:29.0]
This is the choose option, allowing you to find a file that's on your hard drive without having to drag and drop it.
[00:00:37.0]
I'm going to choose a QuickTime file, and you notice that in this window,
[00:00:42.0]
it gives me information about the QuickTime file.
[00:00:45.0]
Here's my QuickTime file. If I hold down Shift and scale it down from a corner,
[00:00:52.0]
it'll constrain the proportions. And now we have our little QuickTime movie.
[00:00:55.0]
If we go to place again, we could add another graphic.
[00:00:58.0]
Here is our arrow.
[00:01:01.0]
We may want to rotate this a little bit, so we'll open up our Inspector.
[00:01:06.0]
You can go ahead and use the rotation tool to get the angles just right.
[00:01:11.0]
And we could scale this down just a tidbit, and there's your arrowhead.
[00:01:16.0]
You can go back to the place menu again, and choose another shape to accommodate this arrow,
[00:01:22.0]
such as a line. And we could connect the line to the arrow and the guides will all help this snap into place just right.
[00:01:32.0]
There you go.
[00:01:33.0]
I have a straight line and the guides are helping me out, and that'll help intersect.
[00:01:38.0]
And let's also go to another graphic - oval. And we could snap this using the guides.
[00:01:49.0]
Snap it right to the end of our arrow, and the guides will help you in the course of all this.
[00:01:58.0]
If you want to change the color of a shape, you can bring your colors out,
[00:02:02.0]
choose a color, and drag it from the color well and drop it onto the object.
[00:02:07.0]
Choose a yellow, drag it and drop it. And you can give the yellow a transparency,
[00:02:14.0]
so the object is yellow but also transparent.
[00:02:17.0]
Let's go ahead and add a rectangle.
[00:02:19.0]
And there's a rectangle - we could go ahead and snap it on into place right next to the oval.
[00:02:26.0]
And if you shrink it down, it'll still snap into place and that's pretty much it.
[00:02:31.0]
[00:02:32.0]
o place and that's pretty much it.
[00:02:31.0]
